Unable To Format Pendrive? Here Is The Solution
Most of the people get problems with their pendrive while formatting. Some times they won’t get formatted and people do get panic and some even don’t use them after that.
Pendrives get infected with excessive use on various computers and laptops which may be infected with viruses. Once drive gets affected by that they behave crazy when connected to other systems, sometimes the capacity is shown less, sometimes folders will be missing and we can’t even format in most of such cases.
Here is the simple process to format with command prompt to settle down your panic.
1. Start –> Run
2. Type cmd and press enter
Command prompt appears as shown below

3. Type format/x G: and press enter (here G: refers to your removable disk drive)

4. It asks to insert your disk, if you have already plugged your pendrive then just press enter or plug your pendrive and press enter

5. System formats your pendrive and throws back the details and asks you to rename pendrive. Name your pendrive and again press enter.

6. Format will be done and finally type exit to exit from the command prompt.

Hope you use this to overcome problems in pendrive formatting.
